Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGUSTAV SCHNEIDER August 3, 1911 - September 22, 2003 With his family at his side, Gustav passed away peacefully at Grace Hospital on September 22, 2003. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Anne (Daphne) his daughter Eileen Colp of Winnipeg; son Raymond of Arnes, MB; grandchildren, Ryan, Jennifer, Erin, Lauran; and many nieces and nephews. Born in Obal, SK, Gustav served with the Canadian Army overseas during the Second World War, returning with Daphne to Winnipeg in 1946 and settled in Kirkfield Park. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to Gustavs memory to the Grace Hospital, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7 or the charity of their choice.
